On Nov 17th we had the pleasure of receiving 3 volunteers from Zupa na Monciaku an organization that has been working towards restoring the hope of homeless people in Sopot on a better future.
This amazing group has been providing a warm meal to people in need every sunday since 2016 at 3pm in Montecasino street. They are doing everything they can to bring together homeless and those who have home, to provide an opportunity to talk and share a meal.
They care about treating homeless people with respect and giving them back their dignity. They do so by giving them back a voice, they listen to what they have to say, what their needs are, they help through different assistance programs within their organization, to get them the medical assistance they might need, clothes and even rehabilitation programs.
This wonderful organization needs long term collaboration with local institutions and volunteers that can change these lives.
We were very excited to learn more about their achievements and will definitely collaborate with them in their mission.
