Women’s day is important as a mother is a woman. She loves, takes care and shares everything.
A woman is the essence of life and she has the innate capacity to take care as well as sacrifice for others.
An all-enveloping character is played by a woman and she plays the character of a daughter, sister, wife and mother all at a time within a span of few years.
She also is a friend, guide, nurturer and partner from time on and again.
She displays a range of emotions from being emotional to vulnerable, sometimes serene, sometimes erratic and also is patient to extremely courageous at the time of crisis.
Women have been fighting their way through all ages and times being tormented and subjugated. They face harassment, exploitation and yet have managed to secure their place in the public domain.
The continuing exploitation as well as injustice in the domestic as well as working places has been overruled today as women have accomplished the status by standing equal in terms of freedom, liberty, education and choice.
The growing financial independence and literacy have empowered women today to assert their life of dignity. Women’s day is hence of much importance and is celebrated on March 8th.
