It was a very busy evening, our members were hosting two visitors from two sides of the globe, one – Mr Richard Kowalski from RC Southport, United Kingdom and the other from Down Under – Mr Lachlan Craigie, RC Perth City East, Australia. Mr Kowalski and his wonderful wife Beata, both are Honorary Ambassadors of Gdańsk, often visit Poland and enjoy our club’s Charity Ball almost every year. Mr Craigie belongs to club 100 members strong, told us about his club’s charity projects such us youth development and fighting youth poverty and homelesness.
The guest speaker Magdalena Pawlisz, an inspiring orchestra conductor. Her Rotary Story and memories from India kept us in conviction that belonging to Rotaract changes young lives, made youngsters confident, open to the world and its complexity, and ready to help others. The Youth Exchange Program and RYLA enables development in young people professional field. Magdalena we wish you further successes and conducting the best orchestras!
