Last Wednesday at the meeting of the Sopot International Rotary Club we welcomed three students from the Medical University of Gdańsk who are part of Treating with a Mission: Students Medical Aid. This summer Anna, Antoni and Grażyna will be volunteering at mission hospitals in Kenya. As part of their project they will be installing ECG monitors and training staff at Kyeni Consolata hospital.

Every summer Treating with a Mission (Leczymy z Misją) sends medical students to Kenya in order to provide volunteer medical support and equipment to mission hospitals in rural areas. The organisation sends over 70 volunteers each year, coordinating 14 different projects from the most important areas of practical medicine. Until now they have installed 15 tonnes of medical equipment in hospitals throughout Kenya!

Sopot International Rotary Club support the project with 5.000,- PLN

We pledge to support your mission, young, passionate, soon-to-be doctors!

Another guest was Joanna Materek promoting our future event – Tibetan gongs and crystal bowls concert.
With amazing sounds and vibrations she made us fell in a state of deep relaxation… very important especially for our always busy members! Even President meditated…
